Cottonwood, wildfire smoke, and Chico's agricultural dust clog cabin filters faster than national averages. A clogged cabin filter restricts blower airflow and causes musty smells. We inspect and photograph at every oil change. Replacement every 12,000 miles in Chico.
No airflow at any fan speed = failed blower motor. Airflow at some speeds only = failing blower resistor. Both are diagnosed and replaced. Resistors are a quick fix; full motor replacement is a larger job but same-day on most vehicles.
