Caper Acres

Caper Acres is a children’s playground located in Chico, CA. The official address for this playground is 500 South Park Drive, Chico, CA 95928. Caper At Bidwell Park in Chico, Casper Acres is a fantasy playground area for children aged 12 and younger.

are many things for children to play with at Caper Acres. Humpty Dumpty may be visited at the sandbox by children and adults, where they may swing as much as they want, climb into a treehouse, and slide down the slides. For the youngest ones in the group, there’s a toddler-friendly play area called the “Nico Project”!

Caper Acres opened in 1970. After all this time, it needs some renovation. The building has reached the point of needing repairs after years of intensive usage of fun wear and tear. The innovative Caper Acres Master Plan was adopted in 2014, thanks to the inventive ideas of Chico youngsters and local landscaping architects.

While looking forward to the next generation of Chico’s children, this master design combines essential upgrades on existing equipment, long-awaited site upkeep, infrastructure improvements, and the development of a new and exciting level for generations to enjoy.

They still need more help with donations, even though they have plans in place. The beloved Caper Acres Playground needs to be renovated! The needed repairs will be fixed, and a magical playground will be built for future generations. The Chico community must assist in the renovation process. By attending fundraising activities and amplifying the word about the fantastic rehabilitation project, you may help!

The Caper Acres Bricks is a program where Individuals, groups, or organizations may order an engraved brick for installation at the Caper Acres playground through this ongoing program. Up to three lines of engraving, each containing 15 characters and spaces, are allowed. Nowadays, each brick costs $100. The upkeep of the playground is funded by the funds received.

Buddy started his auto career journey at Butte College and started his own auto repair company in 2007. Since then he has worked on countless cars, diagnosing, repairing, and replacing worn, faulty, and broken parts.

After a few years, he moved to a bigger shop to accommodate his growth and to better serve the Chico, CA community. It’s a family-owned & operated business.

Outside of work Buddy enjoys spending time with his family and playing softball is one of his many passions.
